"yes but does it neutralise the toxins of the shipped waste? or is it another way of buying a carbon conscience. It would be interesting to find out more"

"Its is explained on our site. When you buy certificates for lets say 100 computers or CRT monitors, we ship to Europe the same amount \(in kilograms) of hazardous waste which stays as letfover materials after disasswembling 100 computers or CRT monitors.
Secondary we put our effort, knowledge and network capacity in setting up sustainable e-waste disassembly lines in Africa."

"Hi, I had a look at your site and if I understand correctlyly, a big PC user ships its old machine to a developing country for a "second use". i.e. the machines are used again for a while. Then when they no longer work, this is where your service comes in and you responsibly break down the equipment and send the potentiall harmful components to Europe or wherever there is an industrial smelting pot to dispose safely of those components. And you charge original owner for the service at the point they send it to the developing country. Right?"

"Hi Greenbob, thanks for your interest. What you say is almost correct, only we do not pick the PC's for which certificates have been paid for, but we pick other PC's in Africa from which we take back to hazardous leftover materials.

This way of working has at least two advantages:
-the olmost impossible track-and-trace of the original PC's is not neccesary.
-we don't have to wait untill the original PC's break down in Africa, which could take many years.

When you have sugestions which large organisations possibly would want to sponsor and adopt our work, please let me know."

"Very cool. Every bit helps. Just think if we all participated in similar efforts!"
