The Information Collected by Our Website
When you use Cooltribe, there are two types of information we collect: 1) personal information which you choose to disclose to us which might include your name, gender, address, email address, telephone number, pictures, videos and other various information about your hobbies and 2) Website use information as you interact with our Website.
Cookies
We use cookie technology to enrich your visit on Cooltribe.com. When you visit our Website, your browser may save a tiny piece of information on your computer. This information personalises and improves your experience online. Cooltribe only accesses information sent by the Cooltribe Website. When you enter Cooltribe, we collect your browser and IP address. Cooltribe analyses its Website logs to constantly improve the value of our Website. This includes page views, unique visitors, repeat visitors, frequency of visits, and peak-volume traffic periods. We do not use this service to gather, request, record, require, collect, or track any Internet users' personally identifiable information.
We log IP addresses which describe the location of your computer or network on the Internet. This information is helpful for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes.
We may also use third-party services such as Google Analytics. These practices help us understand traffic patterns and know if there are problems with our Website. If you use our invitation service to tell a friend about Cooltribe, we will ask you for information such as your friend's email address. We will send your friend an email on your behalf using your name, inviting him or her to visit Cooltribe, Cooltribe stores this information but your friend may contact us at any time at privacy@cooltribe.com to request that we remove their information from our database.
When you sign up to Cooltribe you set up your personal Profile. You can create Tribes / Groups, add news, videos and carry out searches. We collect this information so that we can provide you the Cooltribe service and offer personalised features. When you update information, we usually keep a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.
You post User Content (as defined in the Cooltribe Terms and Conditions of use) on the Website at your own risk. Although you full name, password and email address are not disclosed on the Website, we cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on the Website will not be viewed by unauthorised persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of the security measures contained on the Website. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

Collection, Use and Protection of Children's Personal Information
Children aged under 13
Our Website is not intended for users under the age of 13. Cooltribe does not knowingly solicit personally identifyable information from children under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register and join Cooltribe. No one under the age of 13 may submit personal information to Cooltribe. If you are under the age of 13, please do not register to join Cooltribe, do not send in any personably identifiable information about yourself. If we do become aware that we have collected personal information form someone under the age of 13 without validated parental authorization we will delete that personal information at our earliest convenience.
Children aged between 13 and 18
Visitors/members who are between 13 and 18 years of age should ask their parent or legal guardian for assistance when using the Website and get authorization and guidance from their parent or legal guardian on what information they should submit.
Use of the Information We Collect
When you register with Cooltribe, you create User Profile. Your User Profile information is displayed to users on Cooltribe, with the exception of your full name, password and email address. Profile information is used by Cooltribe primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the Website and to be presented to others using the Website. Cooltribe collects and uses your personal information to operate the Cooltribe Website and to deliver the services you have requested.
We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Cooltribe that we think you may find valuable. Cooltribe may send you service related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For example, if a friend sends you a new message you may receive an email advising you as such.
You can disable receipt of such emails through the notifications settings. Cooltribe reserves the right to send you notices about your user account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications.
Cooltribe may use information in your User Profile without disclosing or identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating data and personalising advertisements and promotions so that we can provide you with Cooltribe. Where there are advertisements, they're more likely to be interesting to you, but we don't tell the company advertising who you are.
Sharing your information with 3rd Parties
We do not provide contact information you have provided us to third party marketers without your permission. We do share your information with third parties only in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is 1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, 2) legally required or 3) permitted by you.

We do not reveal information until we believe in good faith that an information request by law enforcement authorities or private litigants meets applicable legal standards . Additionally, we may share user account information both personal and non-personal at our sole discretion when we believe it is necessary to comply with the law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Cooltribe Website or using the Cooltribe name, or to prevent imminent bodily harm. - We let you choose to share information with marketers or electronic commerce providers through on-site offers.
- We keep a list of email addresses of all members who wish to receive our monthly newsletter as well as other promotional activities which we will run from time to time. Individuals can unsubscribe from our email list at anytime.
- If the ownership of all, or substantially all of the Cooltribe business, or individual business units owned by Ritz Development S.L. were to change, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the Cooltribe service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information would remain subject to the terms made in any pre-existing Privacy Policy.
Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information, such as your full name, password, or email from your User Profile when posting comments, messages, photos, videos, directory listings or other items, this information may become publicly available.
Links
Cooltribe may contain links to other websites where we are not responsible for the privacy policy. We suggest that our when you leave our Website, you read and make yourself aware of the privacy policies of every website you visit that collects your personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by Cooltribe.
Third Party Advertising
Advertisements that appear on Cooltribe are sometimes delivered directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript to measure the effectiveness of their adverts and to personalise advertising content. Doing this allows the advertising network to recognise your computer each time they send you an advertisement in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalise advertising content. Cooltribe does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertisers. Changing or Removing Information
Access and control over personal information on Cooltribe is available through the Profile editing tools. Cooltribe users may modify or delete any of their Profile information at any time by logging into their account. Edited information will be updated immediately.
Individuals who wish to remove their Cooltribe account may do so on their account summary page. We remove the member and all member associated information including: blog items, videos and albums from the database. We remove the member from the newsletter subscribers list in our database. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of Cooltribe.
If a member chooses to delete his or her user account, we reassign all groups created by the user to the Administrator as author and reassign all comments made by the user to "anonymous author". Where you make use of the communication features of the Website to share information with other individuals on Cooltribe, (e.g. sending a personal message to another Cooltribe user) you generally cannot remove such communications.
We do not remove news items posted by the member, but reassign all such news items and images used for the news items to "anonymous author".
Security
Cooltribe takes appropriate precautions to protect our members' information. Your account information is located on a secure server behind a firewall. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number or your password where appropriate), we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Because email and instant messaging are not recognised as secure communications, we request that you do not send private information to us by these methods. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer.
