About Me:

55 years old, originally from Bradford (what was then the West Riding of Yorkshire). Now living just outside Cardiff, in South Wales. I moved down here about 17-18 years ago, to be closer to my then fiancee and now my wife of nearly 16 years. No children, Now a full time carer for my wife and general house husband.

Green Idea:

Always carry one of the fold flat recycled bags with you and keep 1 in the car/bike/ rucksack. that way you never need to use plastic shopping bags

Interests:

reading, mainly science fiction, but other genrers as well. favourite authors are r.a.heinlein, i.asimov. l.niven, j.pournelle and tom clancy. photography, both digital and 35mm film. on-line gaming. currently playing guildwars (once you have bought the , playing is free). you can get a free trial if you're interested. messing about with computers and , many years ago was a chef and i still prefer to cook from fresh, rather than canned, packets or frozen. music, lots of it, mainly classical beethoven, mozart, 50's/60's some 70's. rock, rock and roll. groups bands singers things like status quo, runrig, elo(original line up), the beatles, diana ross, cher. country and western music fromthe 1940's onward. a local singer/songwriter called martyn jos, he's worth a listen).

Favourite Movies:

hard to say, at he moment it's probably "saving private ryan" i do like a good war film, but i prefer ones that are based on actual events rather than some scriptwriters idea of what war is

how can you have favourite and celebrities in the same sentence? don't like them, have no time for them and certainly don't want to look like them, dress like them, name my pets after them. one way or another they all tend to be damaged in some way.
