"A co-worker has been making me soap. It makes my skin softer and has no unnatural ingredients in it. I also use a brand of dish washing soap that uses recyclable packaging."

"Is soap making easy? My daughter is prone to severe eczema hence the reason I use all green products. I bathe her in Aveeno products but they are expensive outside the US."

"I'll have to ask my friend Laura for the actual recipe for you. I know it has salt and aloe in it (I can taste the salt and she mentioned aloe). She mentioned other ingredients, but I've forgotten them. I don't think it takes a long time and I know there are sites on-line that tell you how to do it as well.
The only negative at all about that soap is it is a bit grainy on your skin. You really need to wet the skin thoroughly first. I'll get back to you on the ingredients."

"I use a cleaner called MPD, Multi Purpose Detergent, based on totally natural, organically grown Aloe Vera. It's mild and gentle to hands, fabrics and carpets, it can be also used for all other cleaning jobs, except a dishwasher, it's to concentrated. You do not need to use a fabric softener, when using the washing machine.
It carries an unconditional 60 day money back guarantee, if not totally satisfied.
Aloe Vera is a natural cleanser, this product is not available in shops.

"Here is what Laura sent me (it was originally a Word doc so excuse the formatting here:
Homemade body/face scrub
Ingredients
? 2 cups sea salt, kosher salt (or white sugar for sensitive facial scrub). Salt will be slightly more abrasive than sugar. Sometimes I throw in some Epsom Salts when I use on my tired feet.
? 1 cup sweet almond oil. Grapeseed and olive oil are also excellent choices for oils. Although the almond & grapeseed oil is nice, it can be expensive. Olive oil is a good choice and is what I would use for extremely sensitive skin. I have used a cup of my favorite moisturizer with or without fragrance, during dry months I've used Vaseline.
? 10-30 drops of cosmetic-grade and/or high quality essential oils of your choice. Lavender is suitable for most skin types. This is optional, make sure the fragrance doesn't conflict with what you've already used...
? More liquid, the looser the scrub, less liquid the tighter, adjust to your liking.
? A covered, plastic container for mixing and storage.
Combine the salt or sugar with the oil or lotion. Then, begin adding essential oils drop by drop. The scent should be present, but not overwhelming. Always make sure that the essential oils are skin-care quality, to aid in the prevention of skin irritation. Oils with stimulating properties, such as peppermint or spearmint, should be avoided, as they may irritate the more sensitive areas of the body.
This recipe yields approximately three to five full body exfoliation sessions at home. Remember that oil can go rancid over time, and without preservatives, the body scrub should be used within one month or kept refrigerated. For best results, a weekly or bi-weekly body exfoliation is the recommended usage. Furthermore, this body scrub recipe may be too abrasive for the face if salt is used. Personally I use the salt rub all over, face included."

"I make my own cleaning products, and after lots of experimenting, this is the recipe we use at the home/office:

I also like to use microfibre clothes, you don't need to use any detergent at all. For scrubs i use baking soda and vinegar, mix into a paste."
