"I think the fact that the UK and many other areas of the world that would normally be warm and seasonal at this time is proof that there is significant global warming. I live in almost the southern most part of the United States right now and we are experiencing a cold snap over the past week with temps in the low 30's to the mid to upper 20's and the meteorologist don't expect it to warm up until next Friday, which will mean that we have then had more successive days of cold, lower than normal temps in a very long time. just because it is not hotter then normal, that does not mean it is not global warming that is taking place. There are places in the world where it is heating up when it should be colder then what it is. The polar opposites in differing countries around the world is more then enough proof that there is definitely something going on with the weather patterns in the world. These are not just the usual weather patterns we see every ten years or so. These are extremes that are causing a lot of trouble with the heating and cooling of the earth in the places that they should be warmed and cooled. Anyone who doesn't see this as global warming must be blind!"

"I´m fed up with stupid people claiming that because of the cold weather we are experiencing today, GW doesnt exist. What about the lakes and rivers drying up and uprooting large amount of population? What about sea water rising making low islands inhabitables? GW is not a fashion trend but I guess stupid people are people who follow trends"

"Well said Anita!! "Stupid is as stupid does", isn't that what Forrest Gump was taught? And there si nothing worse then someone who you know is not really stupid but acts that way. I don't knowhow we are going to get people to realize that they have to wake up and stop talking about GW and start being proactive about it. Our planet dies a little more each day and it seems to me that the process is speeding itself up, so we have to act now, time is precious.
Keep up the good work! i know with people like you and others we can make our voices heard and make a change no matter how small it might be."

"Are you kidding me? An issues with colder weather is exactly what Global Warming is. I agree Global Warming is a natural thing. Think about volcanoes? I also agree that we are speeding up the proccess. Violent weather is proof that it is real. Added water to the sea level changes weather patterns into unpredictable especially post- change. First Global Warming then we'll have massive Global Cooling. Another Ice Age basically. That's my thought on the subject."

"@DistantWind, I agree that we are speeding up the global warming process. I think Global warming doesnt necessarily mean warmer i.e warmer everywhere but it will mean unpredictable and extreme weather patterns."
