"Hi melinda, thank you for starting this tribe. We need it. I live in London and it is such a big city, I only see green when I go to hide park. have you got any tips? Where do you live?"

"Hi Cecilia! I live on Manhattan island, New York City. Have you any green markets you can purchase farm fresh fruits and veggies from (I understand Prince Charles is very committed to organic farming); have you a bit of room to grow herbs on your window sill, or better still, a place to garden in the backyard? Are there community garden groups you can join or volunteer for? How about the Parks department--are there work or volunteer activities there for you? I understand the limitations of sunlight--might you look into something like areogrow or purchasing your own indoor plant bulbs to grow your own veggie garden indoors? Let me know what's viable for you. Cheers! - Melinda"

"Buy a largeish square silk scarf, fold it in half and knot the corners. Instant reusable shopping bag that takes up hardly any space and is really strong."
