"The state of our beloved planet is in direct connection with the values humanity set itself. Everybody is ,these days, frantically pursuing wealth, fame and all the dreams linked to these. This has taken humanity on the wrong path, where compassion has no place and where self respect is constantly in decline. The best example of that is to watch the young people of today on a Saturday night. they´re drunk, they fight, they swear and there is no self respect. they have no connection to nature whatsoever and because they dont understand its importance, they wont feel the need to preserve it."

"Whoa, Big question! I'm not sure this could ever be answered completely, but in my view, in the western world, the current celebrity culture is the most regressive movement of modern times. Everything is about the individual, me me me me. It's a catastrophic recipe.
Until we end this strange obsession, our society will continue to demise."

"Greenvoice, that´s a difficult question. I can see what you are saying and where you are coming from but the problem you describe about youth is maybe an English problem. In Germany, we dont habe that. I think in general people are closer to nature here in Germany, we dont have the drinking problem there is in England...although we drink a lot...but it´s different ...cant find the words to explain. I dont think the climate change will make a difference to our human dignity. Either you are respectful to nature or you´re not. The people who are in denyal today about climate change will be in denyal tomorrow as well. Cooltivator is right, the celebrity culture is crazy these days and everybody wants to become a quick celebrity, ScheiSSe. To answer your question, I dont think climate change will help us. It´s about education and education only."

"Greenvoice, are you a priest?"

"Hi Mark, no am not a priest. I am just a church goer who believes that religion and global warming have a lot in common. I´m really going to try hard not to preach here ´cause I know it turns people off. Next discussion will be slightly toned down."

"I´ve seen Greenvoice´s discussion up there on Cooltribe but didnt know what to really say. I wont choose your tribe because am not religious. however, I completely understand what Greenvoice is getting at. Will the catastrophies caused by Climate Change push us to rethink our economical model? Will it be like someone holding a mirror at ourselves and making us see the lazy, ugly and greedy part of humanity? I believe so and I believe that the answer to Greenvoice question is a YES."
