"I was away from my computer for a week and this week has turned into a gong show with so much to catch up on and entire days out of the office at a symposium. Ack!
But I wanted to pop in and say hello to all the new tribe members and encourage you to post your thoughts, ideas and queries here.
I believe we can become a particularly useful resource to each other in the coming weeks and months. There's nothing more powerful than collective/collected wisdom.
So, just to personalize things a bit, I'm in the final few weeks of planning my organization's annual conference. This stage of the game is always a bit of a nightmare, pullingt he final speaker confirmations together and haggling over food and beverage costs with the hotel. :-D
This year our conference theme is green ecomonics: how the move to a sustainable economy is now imperative and asking how we get there. Our keynote speakers include ecological economists and the head of the David Suzuki Foundation. I'm really looking forward to hearing their talks.
