Online Sustainable Fashion Publication Coco Eco Magazine, Releases Exclusive Emma Watson Coverage

It's been almost a year in the making but finally People Tree is delighted to unveil their collaboration with Emma Watson.

With a strong interest in Fair Trade and organic fashion but frustrated at the lack of clothing aimed at people her age, Emma decided to help People Tree create a new line.

“I didn't feel that there was a huge amount of clothes out there that are Fair Trade and organic and it's so great to give people the choice to wear something that makes the world a better place, to wear clothing that does some good. Clothes are fabulous and can transform the way someone feels about themselves and you can transform someone's life at the same time, which is a pretty amazing thing to do.” said Emma.

Acting as a creative advisor Emma worked closely with People Tree's in house design team to create this collection. Over the course of many months Emma worked with People Tree at every stage. Despite often working late at night and trying to fit in meetings between a hectic filming schedule and university timetable Emma and the People Tree team kept their mission firmly in sight - to bring Fair Trade and organic fashion to a new generation.

Despite being the driving force behind all aspects of the collection Emma was adamant that promoting Fair Trade to people of her age was the key reason behind this collaboration.

“This is not an Emma Watson clothing line. This is not a celebratory endorsement, this is something I thought was a really great idea and I wanted to help with. I just thought fashion was a great way to help people.”

We wish her and the range the best of luck.  For more detailed on Emma's range, visit www.peopletree.co.uk
