Fancy a UK Staycation?

Recession hit Britons spend more of their holiday time in the UK than travelling abroad. 2009 was really the year of the Staycation as thousands of people decided than rather take expensive holidays abroad they would stay nearer to home and discover the beauty of the UK.
As summer draws closer, the early indications are that the UK is going to see another bumper year for the holiday sector as early bookings are still high even though the weather still seems to be very unseasonable.
So what can you do this summer 2010 in UK?
The Log Cabin Holidays were one of the most sought after UK self catering holiday choices of 2009 as people discovered that taking an active break can be fun and bring a family together. With perfect locations across the UK to enjoy there is something for everyone and the accommodation is well equipped for short breaks and holidays.
The other option when staying in the UK is the holiday parks. The holiday park breaks were not far behind and they gave the families the chance to enjoy all the fun and games of the seaside both on and off the park locations. With a huge choice of accommodation and plenty to see and do, holiday parks for families last year were popular and many of the parks were completely sold out well before the school summer holidays even began.
With the planned airport strikes and flying becoming a real pain, there are plenty of reasons to take a holiday in the UK and if you are undecided why not choose to take a break of a few days to check out the facilities, accommodation and locations and then if you find you had a great time you could book your summer holiday afterwards.
