BlueChip Energy Announces Record Number of Solar Installations for Second Quarter 2010

BlueChip Energy™, a provider of complete solar energy solutions for residential, commercial, government and utility applications, today announced that it has exceeded projections for the number of its residential and commercial solar installations for the period ending June 30, 2010.
With nearly 50 installations completed in the first half of the year, the company reported that its expanded community presence throughout Central Florida as having contributed to these results. “There is increasing demand among consumers for reducing long term energy costs with clean energy. Many people don’t realize they have a choice as to where they get their electricity. We are encouraged to see that consumers recognize the benefits of renewable energy from the sun. In addition, they better understand the cost benefits and financing options that are now available to them” said Tom Cernera, Vice President of Sales.
The most popular solar energy system among homeowners has been the Fusion 5kW Solar Generator which can generate up to 5000 watts of solar electricity and offset the electric bill for a typical area home by an average of $125 a month. To accommodate new residential inquiries and installations, the company hired additional solar energy specialists, electricians, and solar installers during the quarter.

Envision solar is another cool company with an interesting perspective. Parking lots take up tons of space and only serve 1 purpose....obviously parking. Why not serve multiple purposes??? This is part of Envision Solar's (EVSI) goal and vision. By utilizing this inefficient use of space, EVSI is going to make parking lots into solar grove that provide solar, and therefor GREEN energy. Starting in San Diego and being surrounded by the California energy crisis, EVSI is passionate about helping to solve the problem.
