We believe it is important we explain to the community our thoughts on the subject of advertising.

First of all, note that we are not in receipt of public funding and therefore we are self-financing the Cooltribe site and its applications and provide free service to all our members.

We will allow advertising on Cooltribe as we strongly believe it helps fulfill a number of objectives:

• To allow companies, who are producing/distributing/marketing and promoting in general low carbon emissions and ethical products and services, to showcase these products and services.
• To allow You, the users, to get to know about these products/services and give you choices when purchasing.
• To enable You, the members, to comment online on any of the advertised products/services. There will be a rating system where you will be free to rate a tried product/service.
• To enable us to pay our bills and maintain the services we provide you for free and to develop new applications useful to our community.

Advertising on Cooltribe will not be allowed initially but will be allowed at a later stage. We believe in focusing initially on our community and providing content and applications to our members.
